Happy Birthday Sue Banan : )
Another day in Kaz paradise. Ryan outdid himself on the cuteness scale as you will see from the pictures. He's so ready to crawl, he gets himself on all fours and does this bobbing thing simulating movement across the floor. Maddie will have a new friend to scurry around the house with when we get him home.
The town of Shchuchinsk is set against a low mountain range and is a recreational hot spot for Kaz. You can see the town as we drive up from about 5 miles away with this low black cloud of what we think is coal smoke. The is no EPA in Kaz, and you see tall smoke stacks pouring out this noxious stuff. It's very disconcerting to see in such a pretty area.
We will leave you with lots of photos of the cutie. Our social calendar is rather full today. One of the other couples gets custody of their son tomorrow and that means no going out until they leave for Almaty. Babysitters are scarce, so we are heading to the Cottage for dinner to celebrate their son coming home to them. We have also included a picture of the hotel we are staying in. We cannot prounce the name nor do we know what street it's on so if we get lost we're in big trouble.
Have a great birthday Sue. Paka, Paka.
